Other Cool Stuff: Google Gadget

Google Gadget

If you use Gmail or iGoogle you definitely want the Sendpepper Google Gadget.

To install...

  1. Login to your Gmail or Google Apps account and click Settings > Labs
  2. Down that list you'll find a lab tool called Add any gadget by URL.  Enable that.  Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
  3. You'll see a new menu item called Gadgets at the top of the Settings screen.  Click that.
  4. Paste this in the space there: http://www.sendpepper.com/gadget/sendpepper.xml
  5. Click Add.
  6. You should see the SendPepper gadget show up in your left sidebar.  Pop your SendPepper or OfficeAutopilot user name and password in there, click save and voila!

Next time someone clicks one of your emails to visit your site or fills out one of your SmartForms, you'll see it there.  If you've got our tracking script installed on your web pages, you'll even be able to see each page they visit as they cruise around your site. See someone's visited your site that you'd like to contact straight away? Simply click on their name and it will reveal other information about them, including their email address. Just click on their email address and it will open up a new gmail window where you can begin typing them an email instantly!

Have fun!
