This is where you see what tasks are outstanding.
Task Manager "Collection"
Mark Complete
Click the green check-mark to mark a task 'complete.' Note that if you have the “Hide Completed Tasks” box checked, once you click the green checkmark for a task, it will disappear. When you go to complete a task, click the green checkmark and you'll be given the opportunity to choose the 'call outcome,' make notes about what happened during the task/call, set next step, or mark the task complete. The person that the task is in regards to. Click this to be taken to their contact record.
Owner
Task owner is the person responsible for completing the task.
Type
This is the type of task this is. Learn how to create different task types.
The sequence that this task was a result of. Learn how to create a task step in a sequence.
Date Assigned
Date when this task was created OR re-assigned.
Date Due
Date this task is due. Note that you can reschedule the due date for a later time if you choose by selecting the task with the checkbox on the far left, and then clicking 'reassign' at the bottom of the screen. You can create alerts for the task owner and their manager if the task is some number of days overdue. Learn all about creating tasks and setting the alerts.
Group Actions
Mark Complete
Mark these tasks complete all at once
Send an E-Mail blast to the contacts of these tasks
More Actions
Re-Assign
Assign these tasks to another person.
Reschedule
Reschedule these tasks to be due at a later time.
Cancel
Cancel these tasks.
