What is the CAN-SPAM Compliance?
If you’re going to send email to your customers, CAN-SPAM is a very important law that you need to know about. It governs whether the email you send is considered a legal communication or an illegal piece of unsolicited spam. If you don’t abide by it, you’re subject to fines and penalties from the U.S. federal government.
Step 1: Update Business Info For CAN-SPAM Compliance
It is important to verify the info to your business in Office Autopilot because when you mail your leads, you need to abide by federal law that you are legally in communication with your contacts, by providing them information about you and your business..
1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to Settings (located at the top right corner of the page)
3. Fill out ALL information about your business
4. Click Save
