Contacts
"I got my list from [fill in the blank]. Can I use it?"
We've put together a little summary of can and can nots. If your situation isn't on here, feel free to contact the abuse desk to find out what they think at abusedesk@officeautopilot.com.
"I have several contacts who represent the same company or organization. Can I make one contact record that encompasses all these contacts?"
You could, but it might be a better idea to create a group which includes all these contacts. That way, communications for each contact are still being sorted appropriately. What you could do is create a custom field called "Organization." This could be a company name, non profit group, etc. You could then create a group for each organization. This way you can quickly see which contacts are members of each.
"What does the percentage mean next to the contact's score?"
The percentage gives you a way to essentially "rank" your contacts. The contact with the highest score gets 100%. The rest have a percentage based on their score versus the highest score. Essentially, this gives you an idea of how the rest of your contacts measure up versus your most engaged contact.
"I have a number of duplicate records. How can I quickly delete the duplicates?"
The most efficient way to erase your duplicates is by using the "Group Actions" feature at the bottom of the page in the duplicate manager.
- Log in and go to: https://moon-ray.com/admin/dupe_manager.php.
- Under "Select Which Field you want to search for dupes on" choose "Email."
- Select "All" for "Current Group."
- Click on "email" (underneath "All"), so that the duplicates are in the order of email addresses.
- Check the boxes of the duplicates that you want to delete. Be sure not to select both email addresses, just the duplicate.
- Under "Group Actions" at the bottom of the screen select "With Selected."
- Click on "+More Actions."
- Then Select "Delete Contacts."
Note: You can only do this one page at a time.
"I need more contacts than are available at my level. What are my options?"
There are two options available when you need more contacts. The first is to upgrade the account to the next level. The second option is to purchase more contacts for the account. Additional contacts are available at $49/month for 5000 contacts. This is in addition to your normal monthly subscription rate. If you'd like to purchase additional contacts, you can contact our Customer Service department by phone or email.
"I’m nearing my contact limit, will i not be able to capture any more leads once I reach it?"
No, but we will bill you at the end of the month for any contact overages. If you're near the threshold consider upgrading to get access to more features alongside getting a larger contact allowance.
One of my contacts opted out but has decided to opt back in. Is there a way for them to do this?
Yes, if a contact has opted out and fills out any form that is double opt in (required or optional), they will be sent a new confirmation email and will have the option to opt back in.
Custom Fields
"How many custom fields am I allowed?"
