Using a test/dummy Gateway first

You can test our payment processing system out and see how it works first hand before you move forward and invest the resources into getting a payment gateway of your own.

How to set up and use the "Dummy" Gateway

1. Go to the Sales tab
2. Click Setup on the left 
3. Click on Payment Gateways
4. Select "Dummy Gateway" from the dropdown, give it any name and any nickname and press save
5. Then when you're creating your Order Form and/or Upsell forms, use it
6. Host that form on a web page
7. Then when you fill out the Order Form, enter in the fake credit card number "4111111111111111" and make up the CVC and exp date
8. Once you submit, it will processes just like a normal order within OfficeAutopilot and you will see it in your contact log
